At Food Moves, we understand the importance of online privacy, and we are committed to respecting your privacy on the Food Moves SaaS Application (the "App") throughout all platforms including but not limited to Android and iOS operating systems on computers, tablets and mobile devices where the App is available for download and/or use. 

It is important that you read this Privacy Policy carefully and in its entirety in order to understand our practices with regard to your privacy and information.  This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by the App, "Foodmoves.me" and all other pages under the Food Moves URL umbrella (the "Website").  By using the App and/or Website, you consent to the practices we have outlined in this Privacy Policy.  This Privacy Policy, along with the Terms of Use forms the entire binding Agreement between you and Food Moves.  We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy without notice and at any time.  This is necessary in order to comply with any changes in the law and when we update our services on the App and/or the Website.  We ask that you please make sure to review this Privacy Policy from time to time to stay up to date with our policies and practices.  If you do not agree to our practices, please discontinue any and all interactions with the App and the Website and take the proper steps if you so desire to cancel your account.  Your continued use of the App and/or Website constitutes your express consent to this Privacy Policy, as well as any and all modifications we may make from time to time, and all other terms, policies and practices we may post on our site.

Information we may ask you for and how we might use it 

Food Truck Brands ("Vendors") 

When you sign up for a Food Moves Food Truck Brand Account ("Vendor Account") as a Vendor you are expressly certifying that you are an owner or fully authorized agent of the Food Truck Brand with full authority to enter into this relationship with Food Moves.   When you first sign up for the Account you may voluntarily provide us with certain information including but not limited to your company name, email address, phone number, logo, location, menus, images or other media content.  When you register for your Account, we require that you set a password to protect your identity and other information.  We only collect this information from you if you voluntarily provide it to us.  Depending on the purpose for which the information was provided, we may use such information to communicate with you regarding our products, services and promotions, to provide you with other information or materials that you request, to provide customers and Individuals with the information you permit us to transmit to them including but not limited to your Vendor location, logo, images, menus and other media content, to customize your interactive experience, and/or to improve our product and service offerings. 

 

Food Truck Followers ("Individuals")

 

When you sign up for a Food Moves Individual Account, you may voluntarily provide us with personally identifiable information.  We only collect personally identifiable information from you (such as your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, credit card number, etc.) if you voluntarily provide it to us. Depending on the purpose for which the information was provided, we may use the personally identifiable information to communicate with you regarding our products, services, and promotions, to provide you with other information or materials that you request, to customize your interactive experience, and/or to improve our product and service offerings.

Here are the circumstances in which we might ask for personally identifiable information from Individuals though our App and/or Website, the types of information we obtain, and how we might use the information:

If you contact us through our App or Website, we may ask you for personally identifiable information such as your name, address, phone number, or e-mail address so that we can respond to your questions or comments.

You may be asked to provide personal information if you:

·    Make a purchase through our App or Website

·    Agree to receive an online newsletter or other information or material from us;

·    Register for a sweepstakes, contest, or other promotion;

·    Register to receive coupons or discount codes through our App or Website;

·    Participate in a survey, a consumer research panel, or similar type of activity;

·    Ask to receive an online newsletter or other information or material from us; or

·    Otherwise participate in features of our App or Website that ask for personal information.

If you purchase or otherwise request a product, publication, or promotional offering from us or take advantage of a rebate or similar offer, you may be required to provide your contact and/or payment information (such as a credit card number) in order for us to process your request.

Your participation in any of these activities (and therefore your provision of personally identifiable information) is entirely voluntary. We may use the information you provide to respond to your questions or comments, to administer our promotions and websites, to fulfill your request or order, to provide you with a customized interactive experience, or to otherwise provide or improve our products and services. Based on the information you provide, we also may obtain additional information about you, such as U.S. Postal Service address change data or demographic information, from commercially available sources.

We will not send you any online newsletter or similar e-mail communication unless you expressly consent to receive such a communication from us. And if you do choose to receive any such e-mail communication from us, you will always have the opportunity to “unsubscribe” from receiving the e-mail at any time.

You may voluntarily choose to provide us with non-personally identifiable information while accessing of our App or Website.  We only collect this information from you if you voluntarily provide it to us.  Such non-personally identifiable information may include but is not limited to demographic information, time-stamps and your location.  Such information may be used for non-identifying purposes including but not limited to aggregation of data, determining when or where you like or favorite a particular Vendor, and notifying you as to what Food Truck Brands are near your area.

How do we use cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies?

Food Moves may use "Cookies" which are small text files that are used to store, and sometimes track information on your mobile device, tablet or computer, and are then transmitted back to our App or Website by your device to help us provide you with a more customized experience. Cookies may be used to remind Food Moves of who you are while you are using the App or Website, collect IP addresses for system administration, and to report non-identifying aggregate information to third parties.

Some cookies are temporary "Session" cookies, which are usually erased from your mobile device, tablet or computer after you exit your web browser. Session cookies are used for purposes such as managing how you view the website. Other cookies are more permanent "Persistent" cookies which may be stored on your mobile device, tablet or computer even after you exit your web browser. Persistent cookies may be used for purposes such as retrieving certain information you have already provided. 

Otherwise, the information we collect using cookies is used in non-identifiable ways, without any reference to your personally identifiable information or billing information. For example, we use information we collect through cookies to optimize our website and understand its traffic and usage patterns. 

Food Moves does not use cookies to run programs or send viruses to your mobile device, tablet or computer. Most browsers automatically accept cookies, which are stored by the browser on your mobile device, tablet or computer's hard drive. You can configure your browser preferences to decline all cookies, or you may be able to set your browser to notify you each time a cookie is tendered and to allow you to accept or decline cookies on a case-by-case basis. If you decline cookies, you may not be able to view all of the information on the App or Website.

When we might provide other parties with your personal information

Generally, Food Moves does not disclose your personally identifiable information or billing information to third party advertisers, service providers, websites or other businesses. 

Food Moves reserves the right to disclose your information in order to 1) effect a merger, acquisition, or otherwise support the sale or transfer of business assets; 2) enforce our rights or protect our property; 3) protect the rights, property or safety of others; 4) investigate fraud, respond to a government request, or as needed to support auditing, compliance, and corporate governance functions; 5) defend ourselves in litigation or a regulatory action, and when required or advised to do so by law, such as in response to a subpoena, or similar legal process, including to law enforcement agencies, regulators, and courts in the United States.

 If Food Moves is involved in amerger, acquisition, or sale of all of its assets, we will notify you via email and/or post prominent notice on the App and/or Website of any change in ownership or potential uses of your information, as well the choices you may have regarding your information. The use of your information will be governed by the privacy policy and any terms of use of the new owner and will not be subject to our control.

Personal information we may receive from third-party social-networking services

 If you choose to access or make use of third-party social-networking services (such as Facebook, Instagram or Twitter), we may receive personal information about you that you have made available to those services, including but not limited to information about your contacts on those services. For example, some social-networking services allow you to push content from our App or Website to yourpage on such social networking service, push content from our App or Website to your contacts or to pull information about your contacts so you can connect with them on our App or Website. Some social-networking services may also facilitate your registration for our App or Website or enhance or personalize your experience on our App and/or Website. Your decision to use a social-networking service will always be voluntary. However, you should make sure you are comfortable with the information your third-party social-networking services may make available to our website by visiting those services' privacy policies and by modifying your privacy settings directly on those services. Any personal information we receive through third-party social-networking services may be used as described above.

Our App or Website may contain links to applications or websites of our subsidiaries and affiliates, partners, and to applications or websites that are owned and operated by third parties. These other applications or websites may have their own privacy policies.  In any event, this Privacy Policy does not govern your interactions with these other applications or websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of applications or websites owned and operated by any such third parties. Other applications or websites may collect and treat information collected differently, so we encourage you to carefully read and review the privacy policy for each website you visit.

 Children's privacy

This website is not directed to children and we will not request any information from children under 13 at this website. We have developed our privacy practices as they relate to children from guidelines established by the Children's Advertising Review Unit (CARU) and in compliance with the requirements established by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 ("COPPA"). We also recommend that parents monitor their children's Internet activities and learn and employ software or other tools which can help their children enjoy the fun and entertainment of an on-line experience without compromising their personal safety or allowing them to use the Internet in a manner inconsistent with their parents' preferences.

We reserve the right to change or replace this Privacy Policy at our sole discretion at any time. Please check back from time to time to ensure that you are aware of any updates or changes in this Privacy Policy. Unless stated otherwise, our current Privacy Policy applies to all information gathered via this website.

 By using our App or Website, you signify your express assent to all of the terms of this Privacy Policy and our App and Website Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any term of this Privacy Policy or our Terms of Use, please do not use our App or Website or submit any personally identifiable information.
